so i still fail utterly and completely at keeping an updated blog...
and now, for something completely different!!
i like "less-than-modern" weaponry. not that i don't like guns as much as the next 21 year old male, but thing that don't involve gunpowder require a certain finese(spelling?) i once saw a vidoe of a little asian girl who shot an apple off a guys head, but here's the kicker.. SHE SHOT THE BOW WIHT HER FEET!! not that my new life goal is to learn foot-archery, but its damn cool.
my dad first taught me to shoot a bow when i was 4 years old. in middle school P.E. when we did the archery unit, i put my target twice as far back as everyone else and still shot better than most. tis makes me happy. while my parents are in georgia and wherever else they might be for the next year, i am in possesion of two of my dad's recurve bows. i also have a decent stock of arrows and the necessary tools and supplies to keep them in good repair. i now just need a place to shot things with out being arrested. Sardis is the only place that comes to mind. i just need to find a good target. will go scouting on saturday to see what i can see.

I'm sure we could find some an old hay bale somewhere and set it up in the back pasture or something. Maybe out in the field that used to be the horse pasture?
don't forget, straw bales are $10
haha, I have some bales I use for archery that you can have for free. They are about ten years old, so don't feed them to animals.
